Easter

I was sitting at my kitchen table last night, with my sister and a friend. My friend suddenly looks up and says "Bunnies have babies, right?". I replied with a simple yes, not expecting the next question. My friend again looks up and asks "Then where do the eggs come in?". I realized at this point that she was talking about the upcoming Easter holiday. In all my life i have never questions the fact that on Easter Sunday, you get up, put on your new pretty dress, hunt for eggs, and go to church (as my family does most Sundays anyways). I never in my life questioned why there were Bunnies and eggs involved in the Celebration. Easter is about Jesus, family, and my grandmothers famous colored mashed potatoes. While i was ponder these questions, laughing at her, and in my head just thinking it was all part of the commercialism of the holiday. I my self started to wonder how these traditional symbols of the holiday came to be.

Here are some answers i found online Easter Symbols
If you have any insight on these questions, please feel free to tell me what you know.

My day

Woke up late, had to rush through my devo for the day, got breakfast on the way to work, got stuck in a school zone. That is just the start of my day. Throughout the day, work we boring, facebook would not work, no one emailed me back with info i needed, and that was the middle part of my day. Tonight, i think i am going to get anti sane in the kitchen, and whip up some tasty treats.
This after noon i got a call from one of my customers, asking if i could tell her the name of the water pond nursery on 183. I kinda felt a bit like Cathrine Hepburn in that old movie "A match made at IBM". South Western Bell use to provide a service where you could call in, and ask any question, and withing reason they would provide an answer for you. In the movie IMB create a computer to help the switch board girls get the answers faster. Of course in the movie, Spencer Tracy and Cathrine Hepburn fall in love, and the computer goes nuts; as almost all computers do at come point. Any ways, if i am the Cathrine Hepburn at work, i am more than ok with it.
